You never heard of Skype?
Me neither! That is until my sister and brother-in-law moved to
Dubai. To call them on the phone would have cost more than the 700
billion we send to the Arab states each year for oil and E mailing
them just doesn’t cut it! Along came
Skype – a free internet
service that gives you full audio and video communication at the
touch of your keyboard. Over the past year I have watched and heard
Skype evolve into a very
reliable communications service. Maybe being bought out by E-bay for
billions and billions helped them. The downside to
Skype is you’ll want to look
presentable when you turn that video camera – something I find hard
to do with a 5:30 AM call from Dubai (1:30 PM their time)!

the best strawberries or how to make peanut butter chocolate chip
ice cream. If you have an older machine, you’d probably like to know
what preventive maintenance you should do. Any question is open for

buy minutes or anything! You will need a camera to attach to the
top of your monitor. I use a Logitech 9000. The picture quality and
sound are fantastic. You can buy one directly from
Skype or Amazon. If
