Emery
Thompson |
Is the only batch freezer that is 100%
American made with American parts, in an American factory, using
American labor and privately owned by an American family. This becomes
really important when you need a spare part, technical advice or just
want to talk to the president of the company! We expect your Emery
Thompson batch freezer to last three
times longer than the competition

|
Carpigiani |
Carpigiani scraper blades will cost you 20 times more to
operate than an Emery Thompson. The scraper blades in a Carpigiani must
be replaced every six months. The Emery Thompson scraper blades are
changed every four years! The Carpigiani blades will cost you $2,640
over this time period where as the Emery Thompson’s will cost you $130
over the next 4 years.

|
Electro-Freeze |
Is owned by Carpigiani and all of their designs and most
of their parts come from Italy.

|
Taylor |
With the exception of two models – 104 and 220, Taylor
batch freezers are made by a company called Frigomat in Italy. In my
opinion, these machines are complicated to run and the durability is
questionable.
|
|
Stoelting |
Another American company that buys its batch freezers
from Italy. Their batch freezers are based on designs that were created
by Emery Thompson over 103 years ago and retired as “primitive” over 80
years ago. Vertical batch freezers do not perform nearly as well as a
horizontal batch freezer.

Emery

Our hand made machines cost less than any of the
competition – usually $2,000 - $5,000 less than the Italian
machines. Why? because we do not have to pay import duties and the U.S.
Dollar is far less than the Euro. Even at our lower prices (listed here
on our web site),our quality far out shines all the competitors!
|
|
Bravo |
An Italian made “look alike”. There is no measurable
difference between the Bravo and the Carpigiani – except the price –
they cost more!
|
Techno gel
(Gel-Tec) |
Another Carpigiani "look alike" only a smaller
organization. With the cost of shipping from Italy and
the very high Euro, all Italian machines have become cost prohibitive!
